Mei Ling Marzonie
Mei Ling Marzonie is an award-winning Asian American filmmaker from the Detroit, MI area. Based in Chicago, IL Marzonie moved to the city for work and school which she currently attends Columbia College Chicago with a focus in cinematography-documentary, directing, and 1st ADing. Starting film production at her high school and receiving an Emmy for Best High School Director from the National Academy of Television and Science for her short feature The High Road (2019), it was Marzonie’s decision that her passion in film making and telling stories of the under-represented is a medium that will continue to evolve and connect with other like-minded and creative individuals.
